The AU noted that the complex internal challenges facing Venezuela cannot be sustainably resolved except through an inclusive political dialogue involving all Venezuelans and led by a nationally owned process.
The Union also expressed full solidarity with the Venezuelan people, reiterating its commitment to supporting peace, stability, and mutual respect among nations and regions.
The AU called on all concerned parties to exercise restraint and responsibility, respect international law, and avoid any actions that could escalate tensions and threaten peace and stability at both regional and international levels.
