Djibouti Advances Healthcare Quality and Logistics in DjibExpoPharma Event

Djibouti(Mogadishu24)-Djibouti’s National Social and Security Fund (CNSS), in collaboration with ARICA and Sanufi pharmaceutical companies, organized a three-day DjibExpoPharma conference on Saturday to discuss the challenges and prospects linked to the healthcare supply chain.

This innovation also serves as a platform to explore innovative solutions to challenges, aiming to improve the quality and standards of exported pharmaceutical products. It consists one day for discussions and two days of training on quality control for exported medicines and pharmaceutical supplies.

The event was attended by high-ranking personalities, including Minister of Labour Omar Abdi Said, Minister of Health Dr. Ahmed Robleh Abdilleh, General Director of CNSS Ms. Deka Ahmed Roble, the Director of the Central Purchasing Officer for Essential Medicines and Materials Dr. Hassan Abdirahman, and national and international experts in the pharmaceutical supply chain sector.

Djibouti’s Minister of Labour, Omar Abdi Said, emphasized in his speech the importance of taking all necessary steps to ensure the availability and access to essential medicine and quality healthcare products.

“This is a great initiative that would promote the quality of medicinal products within our country, as well as those we import and export. This platform enhances the availability of quality medicines and health products. During this innovation, training will be offered, which will improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare product distribution,” said Hon. Omar Abdi Said, Djibouti’s Minister of Labour.
