Delhi, India(Mogadishu24)-Djibouti’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Mr. Yonis Ali Guedi, took part in the third edition of the high-level conference on "New Technologies for Clean Energy Transition" in New Delhi.
Held alongside the 7th Assembly of the International Solar Alliance (ISA), the event was organized by ISA in collaboration with the Indian government, the Asian Development Bank, and the International Solar Energy Society.
The conference brought together ministerial delegations from ISA member countries, policymakers, industry leaders, and experts to discuss the latest advancements in solar technology, the role of solar energy in driving equitable economic and social development, and emerging solutions in energy storage.
Discussions centered on practical pathways to accelerate the global energy transition while promoting sustainable development.
Minister Guedi, joined by his Technical Advisor Mahdi Waberi Hassan and Energy Director Gouled Mohamed Djama, engaged in sessions addressing the role of ISA in advancing global clean energy goals and fostering international collaboration.
The minister’s participation underscores Djibouti’s commitment to enhancing its solar energy sector and contributing to global climate objectives.
