Djibouti and EUCAP Somalia Discuss Strengthening Maritime Security.

Doraleh, Djibouti – The Commander of the Djibouti Coast Guard, Colonel Wais Omar Bogoreh, welcomed a delegation led by Kęstutis Lančinskas, Head of Mission for EUCAP Somalia, in Doraleh. Also present at the meeting was Dania Cossa, Head of Operations for EUCAP Somalia. The discussions focused on enhancing maritime security cooperation and strengthening collaboration between the two sides.

The leaders engaged in an in-depth analysis of security concerns in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, which are critical for global trade and regional maritime stability.
