Djibouti Launches National Cybersecurity Strategy 2024-2030 to Secure Digital Future

Djibouti(Mogadishu24)-The Ministry of Digital Economy and Innovation of Djibouti has officially launched the National Cybersecurity Strategy 2024-2030, a landmark initiative aimed at securing the nation's cyberspace and supporting its ongoing digital transformation.

The event, presided over by Minister Mariam Hamadou Ali, brought together key government figures, including Minister of Interior Saïd Nouh Hassan, Minister of Infrastructure Hassan Houmed Ibrahim, and Minister of Commerce Mohamed Warsama Dirieh.

Strategic stakeholders such as Hassan Saïd Khaireh, Director General of National Security, and Krystian Spodaryk, EU Chargé d’Affaires, were also present alongside diplomats, cybersecurity experts, and private sector partners.

This ambitious roadmap underscores the collective responsibility of cybersecurity, calling for coordinated mobilization across public and private institutions. Key actions outlined in the strategy include:
