Abdulkadir Hussein Omar, who was Djibouti’s ambassador to Kuwait and is now the Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with the Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Kuwait, Sheikh Fahad Youssef Al-Sabah on Monday.
The meeting was also attended by Kuwait’s Foreign Minister, Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya. They discussed how to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, which have had a long friendship and a partnership based on mutual trust and shared views on regional matters.
The focus of the meeting was on improving cooperation, especially in areas like development, regional security, investment, and training of leaders.
Both sides also talked about current global and regional strategic issues, and they confirmed their shared commitment to peace, stability, and prosperity in the Horn of Africa and the Arabian Gulf.
After the meeting, they agreed to continue political dialogue, speed up the implementation of previous agreements, and open new opportunities for cooperation based on partnership and strategic support
