Ethiopia, 25 January 2026 The Ethiopian Air Force on Friday marked the 90th anniversary of its establishment in a ceremony attended by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and senior government officials.
Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Ahmed said the air force reflects Ethiopia’s firm commitment to safeguarding its national interests and strengthening regional stability, praising the dedication of its personnel and their role in advancing the country’s reform agenda.
The occasion underscored the historical stature of the Ethiopian Air Force as a symbol of national sovereignty, resilience, and pride, highlighting its pivotal role in protecting the country’s airspace and enhancing regional security.
