Raskamboni(Mogadishu24)-Heavy fighting between Jubaland State forces and those of the Federal Government of Somalia erupted near the port town Raskamboni early on Wednesday according to Jubaland TV and reports.
Jubaland State TV reported that 150 soldiers surrendered to the regional forces during the fierce fighting, claiming that the Federal government forces based in Raskamboni started the confrontation in the area.
There is no comment from the Federal Government of Somalia about the on-going fighting in lower Juba region and claims of Jubaland State, but reports confirmed there were casualties as though there are no an independent sources, providing an explanation to the matter.
