The Chairman further noted that the commission has trained over 100 journalists who will be covering the elections. He also mentioned that training is ongoing for the staff who will be working at the polling stations on election day.
The Banaadir elections are considered crucial for the political future of Somalia, following numerous concerns about the process mainly by the opposition.
Despite the concerns, Hassan said the commission is fully prepared and remains hopeful that the elections will be successful.
