Kenya, 9 November 2025 - Twenty-eight Somali entrepreneurs are participating in the 25th East African Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Trade Fair in Nairobi, Kenya, showcasing new innovations in technology and agribusiness.
For the first time, Somali businesses are taking part, supported by the European Union under the Global Gateway initiative to present Somalia’s new products and services.
The trade fair, which will run from 7th to 16th November 2025, will feature over 3,000 participants from the East African Community (EAC), showcasing innovations, products, and services in sectors such as agribusiness, manufacturing, and trade.
This presents a significant opportunity for Somali businesses to tap into the East African market, with the expectation of strengthening regional business ties.
