Aligning with the African Union Model Law on Access to Information and the Provisional Constitution, Somalia plans to introduce legislation to improve access to information for all citizens.
The government emphasizes fostering an inclusive society through open governance and engagement with media and civil society.
This occasion comes amid concerns from press unions over challenges in accessing government information.
