Lascano, Solo(Mogadishu24)-SSC-Khaatumo has condemned what it describes as an unprovoked attack by Somaliland-affiliated forces on its military bases and nomadic communities in the Buhodle district.
According to SSC-Khaatumo leadership, the assault targeted both military personnel and civilians, resulting in fierce clashes that have heightened tensions in the region and put lives at risk.
Eyewitnesses reported that the Somaliland forces attacked early on Friday, escalating the conflict between the two sides. SSC-Khaatumo leadership called the act “an act of terrorism,” claiming it undermines peace and stability in the region.
The group reaffirmed its commitment to defend its territory and demanded an end to the violence, describing the aggression as a blatant disregard for regional security.
