Woman Arrested  Over Fatal Stabbing of Husband

Somalia, 21 November 2025 — Banadir Regional Police have arrested a woman suspected of fatally stabbing her husband during an incident in the Deynile district of Mogadishu, police said on Thursday night.According to a statement from the police command, the suspect, identified as Fadumo Mohamed Osman, allegedly stabbed her husband, Hassan Mohamed Noor, with a knife inside their family home in the Kor-Damac area of Deynile.“Police forces have apprehended a woman who stabbed and killed her husband in Deynile district,” the statement said.Authorities confirmed that the suspect is currently in custody and is expected to be transferred to a competent court to face legal proceedings related to the killing.Police have not disclosed the motive behind the incident, stating that investigations are ongoing.This is not the first time police have reported cases involving family disputes that end in fatal violenceOfficials urged the public to allow the legal process to take its course as inquiries continue.
