Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Somali National Army on Tuesday killed Al-Shabaab commander, Abdullahi Mohamed Yare after conducting special operation at an area about 50 kelomters west of Hudur town in Bakool region in Southwest State.
The military officials said that the commander was shadow tribal chief of the main clan, Hadame in the region and mastermind of those decided to isolate Hudur city from the rest of the region.

Al-Shabaab militants did not comment on the latest military operation in Bakool region, but it claimed that its fighters carried out attacks at Ugandan and Ethiopian forces' bases under the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia a night earlier.
