Djibouti(Mogadishu24)-Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh and Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed held a phone conversation on Wednesday to discuss regional and global issues, as well as trade and economic relations between their countries, according to Djibouti TV.
The discussion comes shortly after President Guelleh's return from France following a health-related trip and ahead of Prime Minister Abiy’s anticipated visit to Djibouti's Tadjoura port later this month. Djibouti’s Foreign Minister confirmed the planned visit in an interview with Al-Jazeera Arabic.
