Riyadh(Mogadishu24)-A high-level delegation led by Djibouti’s Minister of Trade and Tourism, Mohamed Warsame Diiriye, participated in the tourism development forum that started on September 27, 2023, and concluded yesterday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The forum focused on the importance of investing in tourism recovery, future growth, and global economic development.
This forum which coincided with the world tourism day, highlighted the need for increased tourism investment to strengthen innovation and promote economic growth and productivity.

After the meeting, Djibouti’s Minister of Tourism, Mohamed Warsame, held discussions with his counterparts from Jordan and Tunisia to discuss potential tourism cooperation between Djibouti and their respective countries.
The ministers also discussed strategies for promoting tourism investments and strengthening bilateral relations between Djibouti and their respective countries.
The forum was organized by the Saudi Minister of Tourism in collaboration with world tourism organizations and was attended by hundreds of high-profile tourism executives from around the world.
