Garowe(Mogadishu24)-Puntland State President, Said Abdullahi Deni on Thursday welcomed former Somali President, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo who landed in Garowe town in a surprise visit after more than years later.
Deni and his Government received Farmajo and his delegation at the airport to the Puntland State House where they are currently holding talks aimed at the political situation of the country and ways to build new partnership against the ongoing constitutional review by the Federal Parliament.
It is too early to comment on President Farmajo's visit to Garowe town in Puntland State.
But the two leaders were not friends in the past three years and half after President Farmajo intended to extend his term in office during his presidency.
