Djibouti(Mogadishu24)-The IGAD Climate Prediction and Application Center (ICPAC) issued a warning on Tuesday about expected extreme rainfall levels in parts of East Africa. Rainfall exceeding the top 10% on record is anticipated over northern Somalia, as well as the northeastern and southwestern regions of Ethiopia.
The forecast raises concerns over potential flooding and its impact on agriculture, infrastructure, and communities in the affected areas.
