Somali forces seize two suspects, large amount of fuel in southern Mudug region

Harardhere(Mogadishu24)-Somali National Army's elite Unit(Gor-gor) backed by local forces seized two Al-Shabaab suspects and 150 jerrycans of fuel near at the port town of Harardhere in southern Mudug region after conducting operation there.

The SNA-radio said Saturday that the army successfully recovered chemical materials inside some of the jerrycans and the boat which was carrying during the operation at beach, but did not say anything about it was from and its final destination either.

The radio citing army sources said that the consignment belonged to Al-Shabaab militants and heading to areas under the group control, adding the two suspects are under investigation at moment.

Al-Shabaab did not comment on the latest operation at Harardhere seashore in southern Mudug region under Galmudug State in Somalia.
