Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Somali National Army backed by the U.S forces killed 20 Al-Shabaab militants after carrying out operation in Galhareri town in Galgudud region in central Somalia.
The State run media said Thursday morning that the joint forces destroyed Al-Shabaab bases including Radio station during the operation, adding that more updates will follow soon.

The operation comes a day after Al-Shabaab militants claimed to have killed about 200 SNA soldiers and overrun five army bases at Caad area in Mudug region in the same Galmudug State Administration.
This also comes a day after a suicide bomber blew himself up at Cali-kamin Junction near Mogadishu Football Stadium that hosting a regional tournament between Benadir and Galmudud State. Police later said that at least two people were killed and others injured in that attack.
